The shelter looks like the children’s hiding place made of blanket and chairs.The central motif of the work is the topic of self defence, the feeling of menace coming from nowhere. The shelter as the rest of the landscape is uninhabited which is typical for most part of Ladislava’s paintings. The scenery and the belongings look often abandoned and threateningly.
