A booklet printed for the 2014 “Dilh i na bistar” Roma Genocide Remembrance Initiative event, Marking the 70th anniversary of the remembrance day of the Roma Genocide. The event was organized by TernYpe – International Roma Youth Network and its partners. On the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the 2nd of August (and the liquidation of the Gypsy Camp in Auschwitz), ternYpe brought together over 1000 young Roma and non-Roma participants from 25 countries. The initiative, which begun in 2010 and is organized annually, aimes to raise awareness among young Europeans, civil society, political stakeholders and decision-makers about the Roma Genocide, the mechanisms of stereotypes, antigypsyism, and current challenges of racism, hate speech and extremism in Europe.
