The novel Daskind (literal translation: Thechild), published in 1997, is the first part of the so-called ‘Violence Trilogy’ by Mariella Mehr. The Tyrolean actress Carmen Gratl read the beginning of the tenth chapter at the Second Yenish Cultural Day in Innsbruck.
