Romani musician Gejza Horváth from the Czech Republic wrote this song based on traditional Romani song from Hungary Amari szi amari which is sung by many Romani musicians all around the world. Original text of the song is about a newly wed wife who comes to te family of her husband. Gejza Horváth rewrote the lyrics and changed it to somehow ironic “Every Rom is happy when he is rich.”
