Fred Taikon talks about his grandfather Johan Dimitri Taikon and his family’s involvement in Romani activism in Sweden. The interview covers a wide spectrum of topics related to book publishing and production in the context of Swedish Romani politics. Fred also talks about the role of Katarina Taikon and other Romani activists and about his own contribution to Romani activism. His activities as the editor of the journal »Romani Glinda« and as publisher of many of the Romani children literature books are discussed. Finally, the talk turns to the book series authored by Fred based on his own memoirs.
