The sculpture titled “Zalikierdo Drom”( Interrupted road), made in its own technique in a cardboard. This piece of art shares its name with a group exhibition that addresses the matter of DzSamudaripendz in more detail. It depicts an abandoned gypsy wagon in the middle of a forest. It’s an allegory of Nazi bestial executions on entire Roma families in the time of WWII. In those years, Roma people travelled with wagons, fearing for their lives and finding a bit of safety only in forests and far away from cities and villages.
