Josipa Krnjak studied ethnology and cultural anthropology (MA) combined with information studies – archivistics and documentation (MA) at the University of Zagreb. While studying, she was involved in some digitisation projects such as the 3D modeling of items from the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts and HED archive digitisation.
She worked as a volunteer at the Croatian Public Library in Zagreb and later on at the Phonogrammarchiv of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna where she became interested in working with audio and audiovisual material. Currently she works as an archivist at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb for the Croatian Ethnological Society.
Josipa Krnjak is responsible for the documentation and data capture of the material collected by the RomArchive literature section.
