Producer, copyrights expert, legal adviser to the film section
Marion Kurucz is a French/Hungarian film and TV producer. She joined Budapest-based NGO Romedia Foundation in 2007 as the organisation’s programme director and co-producer of the travelling TV documentary series Mundi Romani – the World through Roma Eyes (2007–2011, broadcast on Duna Television in Hungary). Since 2013, she has been providing production services to foreign production companies and broadcasters who are shooting films, commercials and TV shows in Hungary (including Canon’s Project Imagin8io_n, Malibu’s _Best Summer Ever, Mercedes-Benz’s GLA Adventure and BBC Hard Talk).
A graduate in international and EU law from Université Paris-Sud and of postgraduate studies in international human rights law from the Central European University, she is currently a producer at Budapest-based film production service company Castillon Films.
