Marko Stenroos has studied social and cultural anthropology at the Helsinki University, Finland. Currently he works as a Ph.D. candidate at the All youth project, funded by the Strategic Research Council at the Academy of Finland (312689).
From 2008 to 2012 he worked as a research assistant for the Finnish Roma history project and finished his master thesis for social and cultural anthropology during the project.
His Ph.D. project is an ethnographic study on Roma politics and policy implementations with a special focus on power relations.
