Nina Debrunner lic. phil. studied German literature, musicology and art history at the University of Zurich and earned a grammar school teaching diploma. She works as an author and editor (including on the encyclopaedia of theatre in Switzerland, Theaterlexikon der Schweiz), and teaches German literature in secondary schools and universities. Since 2012 she has been co-organiser of the Engadin Festival in Switzerland. In 2014–15, as recipient of a scholarship from the Christoph Geiser Foundation, she indexed the Mariella Mehr archive at the Swiss Literary Archives (SLA) in Bern. Together with Christa Baumberger, she subsequently published the volume Widerworte containing texts by and about Mariella Mehr as well as a curating a cabinet exhibition on Mehr’s life and work at the SLA. Since 2017 she has been working as an archivist for the author and performer Franz Hohler.
