Performances of oral literature in Romani can be listened to in this chapter. The tales, parables, droll and ghost stories, told by various narrators from several countries, were recorded between 1965 and 2012.

The sound recordings are part of the extensive collection on Romani culture housed by the Phonogrammarchiv of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. In addition, this chapter includes two tales of magic written by the Bulgarian author and teacher Demir Aliev.
