Roma communities from Greece (Chalkidike peninsular) and later Turkey sharing a specific Balkan Romani variant with distinct features; ormer main profession was weaving and selling baskets. Parts of the community in Northern Greece who had an affinity to Osman culture and Muslim religion had to migrate to Turkey after 1923, settling in Adana, Mersin and eventually in Izmir and surroundings.
